The Next Convention Offering Multilingual Gaming? Gen Con Online!

Gen Con Online is July 30 to August 2, 2020, and it will feature lots of RPGs (including D&D) in a variety of languages.

A few weekends ago, the D&D Live event brought hundreds of gamers together, including for games in Spanish!

One of the players recorded one of the games I ran. I used Roll20 to run this sneak peek introducing the upcoming Adventurers League season and the Rime of the Frostmaiden adventure.

I was fortunate to be a guest on the Down with D&D podcast, where Shawn and I talked about D&D Live, the Spanish language games, and the Rime of the Frostmaiden news!

Coming Up Next: Gen Con Online

Gen Con Online registration is completely free. One of Gen Con’s huge strengths is the breadth of games it offers… this time online. They say they are “offering more than *4,000* events across all times of the day, in 6 languages!” There are games, panels, and much more.

(Believe it or not, Gen Con 2019 had more than 20,000 events, but this is a start and will surely ramp up online.)

Sign Up to DM D&D – In Any Language

Baldman Games is running the D&D online events again. Games help raise money for charity. The introduction to Icewind Dale is a ton of fun and will be offered again. The schedule also includes the excellent Moonshae Isles adventures and the incredible Eberron adventures I’ve raved about.

You can sign up to DM online D&D events here. When you sign up, you can indicate your language.

Want to DM in another language? Add it to the “Anything Else?” notes field, and it may be possible.

The games running include:

• The introduction to Icewind Dale (ran at D&D Live)
• An introduction to the Moonshae Isles adventure series
• Moonshae Isles adventures for levels ranging from 1 to 16!
• Eberron adventures for tier 2
• D&D Experience offering a single DM and consistent players for four linked Moonshae adventures
• Eberron Experience offering a single DM and consistent players for four linked Eberron adventures
• A special Eberron salvage mission event
